A one-of-a-kind hand-built stoneware vessel with a softly rounded body and a sculptural arrangement of four looped handles. Layers of deep charcoal, smoky blue, muted olive, ivory, and earthy burgundy flow across the glossy surface, creating an organic finish shaped by the atmosphere of the firing.
The vessel was sculpted by hand, finished with a combination of handmade glazes, and fired twice with soda ash in a gas kiln. Variations in color, texture, and surface markings are unique results of this process and form part of the character of the piece.
Displayed independently as a petite sculptural object.
